As one who held TOP SECRET and CRYPTO Security Clearances, I wish to inform Mr. NBC that a Security Clearance is NOT a commodity, as he suggested. For him to imply that any of these Obama cretins is more valuable WITH a Clearance, solidly confirms that CNN, et al, only wanted them for the gubmint secrets they could and would leak! IMHO.
We wonder if NBC News reporter Ken Dilanian is aware of the seditious and treasonous irresponsible actions by the Obama activists?
Getting rid of hateful people who want to hurt our country might save countless American lives and livelihoods.
Ken should do some of his own research instead of getting all of his information from CNN and the like.

A$$wipe at NBC doesn’t seem to realize that the clearances those crooks hold are not theirs to keep. They are at the discretion of the government and paid for by the tax payer. They are a privilege, not property.
Honestly, I don’t think it should matter that these individuals have clearances. Clearances by themselves do not get you access to classified materials. You have to have a ‘need to know’ established by the custodians of the classified materials.
As ex-employees, they have no need to know, unless they are being used as consultants by the new administration. I did not think they were, but if they are, that is the real problem.
The clearances, resulting from having completed a background investigation, should time out after approximately 5 years without another investigation update. They could last longer, but again, without a need to know, they still don’t have a right to access classified materials.
Apparently it is possible to suspend a clearance.

I think that suspension is probably the right thing to do when a holder becomes a journalist.
When one becomes as batty as Comey or Brennan, then revocation becomes indicated.
They are selling information to the media that is ours, it belongs to we the people and is not to be sold by traitors or indeed anyone. How arrogant can they be, our secret information is- according to them a commodity for former intel people and others that had access because of their former jobs?
There are soldiers in Leavenworth that have given up very little in reality, but it was not their right to give information. Most were posting it on social media, not comprehending what they were doing...though they should have, not excusing them either. Now we have people who were much higher up the food chain selling information and they very well know what they are doing.

They shouldn’t be making any money at all from their security clearances; that’s not what security clearances are for.
Why? They still have their “expertise”, don’t they? Of course, they will no longer have a LEGAL right to classified info. But then, somehow, I doubt neither they, nor their IC contacts, have ever been concerned with legalities. If their income from divulging state secrets, dries up, then, gee, that’s tough toenails. If the MSM won’t get access to the fodder they want, in order to try to bury Trump, that’s just too bad, too, isn’t it?

I read something earlier this year that inferred Dilanian was a CIA asset.
A security clearance is not a right...it is a privilege, and as such, can be taken away.
