ormer attorney general Eric Holder is mulling a 2020 presidential run, saying on Monday he’ll make the decision “sometime early next year.”
“I'm thinking about it,” Holder, who ran the Justice Department from 2009 until 2015 under President Obama, told “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert. “What I've said is that I'd make a determination sometime early next year.”
“My focus, really, now, is on 2018, the midterms and trying to make sure that Democrats take back the Senate, take back the House and do well, importantly, at the state level,” he continued.

Holder has a mean streak - comes across as angry ... totally lacking Obama’s charm - his ideas are waaaaaaaay out of the mainstream. LOL - let’s hope he runs.

Don’t take me literally, this is a metaphor only.
In movies like gangster ones and Westerns I always cringe at the stupid idea of punching a couple of henchmen to knock them out and then the hero goes on to do something else. A few minutes later, one henchman woke up, and now has a gun to the head of an innocent hostage and the hero has to drop his gun.
Metaphorically only, Holder should have been politically and legally finished off and not just allowed to walk away. He comes back and is a left wing hero and may win an election in a hell hole area (like Chicago).

It could be. In any case it’s all about turnout. By 2020 Trump’s approval rate among whites could be 95%. But just because one stranger tells another that they approve of someone doesn’t mean they would deign to actually show up and vote for that person.
