Now that is offensive. LAPD do not cheer their own when they accidentally kill bystanders. Sheesh. I think the cop made a very wrong decision. But they don’t relish killing the wrong person. He’s probably horrified.

Most of the LAPD people I have met have very nice. One I met the day of the hostage taking was a jerk but they are mostly nice guys.

Like the rest of the country, the LAPD recruits men leaving the military.Their training facilities in LA are kinda luxurious at the LA Police academy located in parklands ... with coffee shops and lots off perks.
