Russia Investigation: As the saying goes, a fish rots from the head down. Well, so do bad governments. Recent revelations about the behavior of President Obama and his CIA director John Brennan in pushing the bogus Russian collusion investigation suggest that's been the case.
The release of the FISA application by the FBI to investigate alleged collusion between Russia and President Trump's campaign and recent comments made by top officials are eye opening.
Not only did President Obama know about the investigation, he seems to have pushed it from the very beginning.
But don't take our word for it. Here's what Obama's Director of National Intelligence, the nation's former spy master, James Clapper, told CNN's Anderson Cooper:
"If it weren't for President Obama we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set up a whole sequence of event which are still unfolding today, including Special Counsel (Robert) Mueller's investigation. President Obama is responsible for that. It was he who tasked us to do that intelligence community assessment in the first place."

I keep hearing this “Intelligence Community assessment” and “The unanimous conclusion of the Intelligence Community...” meme from former Obama administration officials and select members of Congress, some of which are Republicans. This claim is, to put a fine point on it, bullshit. Prior to the election and since, Obama, Hillary and their minions - again, some in the Republican Party - have continued to trumpet this blatant falsehood.
The so-called assessment was a joint effort of the CIA (Brennan) and FBI (Comey), supported by Obama, ODNI (Clapper) and DOJ (Lynch) and using information collected by and stored by NSA. (ADM Rogers, the former DIRNSA, is the one who blew the whistle on illegal surveillance and unmasking of the Trump campaign, if you’ll recall.) That’s it, although the jury is out on what role, if any, State played. Neither NRO, NGA, DIA, DEA, DOE, Treasury, Homeland Security, the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard - the remaining members of the IC, had a damned thing to do with it.
ODNI, CIA, FBI and Justice are not the entirety, nor even the majority of the US Intelligence Community and honest talking heads need to make that point at every possible opportunity.
Yep, pretty scary.
BOTH parties colluded to violate the Constitution with the Kenaynesian Usurpation.
