Being an experienced boater those looked like 4-6 at 2-3 seconds...
Flat boat profile, not much to cut the waves , a combo for disaster. Looks like the captain chose to plow through, instead of slowly riding them....
One sideways turn and control can be lost pretty quickly.
Know these are supposed to be of a military design, but this was a Navy Seal mission so don’t know why they even went out...
Stupid stupid,lots of these places are very seasonal,they try and get the last dollar all the time at any cost.The cost was too high this time and they have no excuse for stupidity.Winds were over 50 mph no one should have been out there.
I think they’ll find that the bilge pump was either not functioninal or not engaged and they got swamped before sinking.
I would even venture to guess that the high capacity bilge pump is what saved the one that made it back in.
