Interesting...my hub worked for Weyerhaeuser (for those who do not know they WERE a LUMBER company)...my grandfather worked for Weyerhaeuser, my great, great grandfather worked for Weyerhaeuser...Weyerhaeuser is being destroyed, altho they still manage “forests”...they are succumbing to the globalists (we think). Time will tell. So many jobs have been lost in Oregon because of the spotted owl “issue” and forest mis-management. Will pass the ForestsForOregon.net website on to others. Thanks.
Yes, Weyerhaueser has been destroyed by a number of factors including the law that says you cannot own a sawmill if you are shipping logs to China. That made a number of forest companies close their mills.
The big reason is the lack of Federal logs.
