America’s Derangement Syndrome A Danger To World Peace
Strategic Culture Foundation ^ | 7-21-2017

It is significant that Presidents Putin and Trump have both spoken out against “haters” among America’s political establishment who would rather see conflict between Russia and the United States instead of a normalization of bilateral relations.

Following their landmark, successful summit this week in Helsinki, Putin and Trump separately made public comments deploring the hostile hysterical reaction emanating from broad sections of the US political establishment and its dutiful, controlled news media.

Speaking in Moscow to his diplomatic corps, President Putin warned that there were “powerful forces” within the US which are ready to sacrifice the interests of their country and indeed the interests of world peace in order to pursue selfish ambitions.

For his part, Trump also slammed opponents in the US who “hated” to see him having a good meeting with Putin. “They would rather see a major confrontation with Russia, even if that could lead to war,” said the American president.

That’s it in a nutshell. Rather than welcoming the opening of a cordial dialogue between the US and Russia, the American political establishment seems to desire the deepening of already dangerous tensions between the world’s two nuclear superpowers. If that’s not deranged, then what is?

Significantly, the hostile reaction was overwhelmingly on the American side. Russians, by and large, welcomed the long-overdue summit between Trump and Putin, and the potential beginning of a new spirit of dialogue and partnership on a range of urgent global problems. Problems including arms control, nuclear proliferation, and working out political settlement to conflicts in the Middle East, Ukraine and the Korea Peninsula.

Few people would believe that these problems can be resolved easily. But the main thing is that the leaders of the US and Russia

How ironic would it be if Russian spies came here to attempt to disrupt our various Communist-dominated institutions? ;)

Fortunately this “hostility” is entirely within the Goebbelsmedia. Actual Americans think things are just peachy. They do not care about the Ukraine, they do not care about Syria.

Trump needs to tell every journalist that they are not a journalist. They are not a protected class. They are not the fourth estate. They are simply a punch of propagandists trying to hold on to their audience by making ever increasingly ridiculous statements. They keep their jobs by serving their billionaire overlords with their lemming audience. The larger the audience, the more trusting the audience, the happier the billionaire overlord such as Bezos and WP, Roberts and CNBC, Slim and NYT.

The press can sleep at night because they think they are real journalists. Trump must keep them a wake.

Looks like Hillary's reset button is finally kicking in.

Great job, Hillary.

Now that I think about it. What if The Donald tweeted out that, thanks to Hillary's reset button, all this was made possible. Praise the cow and see how the leftards like that one.

Heads explode.

That article gave me some comfort, but I wonder one thing. Why does the US establishment hate Russia so much? I think it has something to do with them standing in the way of seemingly inevitable world government, but I just don’t know how or why?

My wife went to Washington DC for a conference this weekend (non-political) and did some tours. She noticed and had to move away from some radical wacko who was screaming incoherently at the White House. She noticed the word "FReeper" occurred many times in the mix. He probably thinks it's all a big conspiracy.

She also noted a huge number of "F Trump" signs everywhere.

Comcast is largely responsible for perpetuating hatred of Trump and half the Country.

Now, how many of you FReepers are writing checks to Comcast every month? Do you feel good about that — giving your hard-earned dollars to a corporation that pisses in your shoes every damn day...

The domestic situation Trump has to contend with is arguably worse than what any other president including Lincoln and FDR had to deal with. In the case of Lincoln, the South withdrew from Lincoln’s political arena and he only had to deal with others on his own side who wanted to be the ones dictating policy. FDR had The Loyal Opposition, who, although they spoke against his policies, did not sabotage them. While I am certain there was always intrigue and behind the scenes machinations, nothing rose to the level of Maxine Waters advocating violent confrontation and Nancy Pelosi mischaracterizing everything the President does as criminal.

Still, it appears that we have elected a man who can deal with all this and still get major things accomplished. Imagine what Trump could do for the Republic if he wasn’t weighed down by anti-American, hysterical politicians and the communist propagandizing media. Trump wasn’t my first choice, but it turns out he was the best choice.
