My Mom would not buy me comic books when I was young.

Brother? My parents had the same line of thinking. Around age 10, I started reading some of Dad's AFSC history books. I'm quite sure I didn't 'get' everything first time around, but I certainly found history a lot more fascinating than fiction.

Around 12, I found my Dad;s stash of Betty Page stuff, No more comics for me!
