STOCKTON (CBS13)- A civilian superhero of sorts in Stockton is at it again. He calls himself Stocktons Batman.
Hes a father of two and a local business owner. The latest citizens arrest was caught on camera.
The video shows the vigilante detaining a man he claims is smoking crystal meth, outside a busy 99 Cents Only Store.
Stocktons Batman wont use his real name or show his face. But told CBS13, that hes nabbed hundreds of alleged criminals at the same Stockton Shopping Center.
Theyre criminals in to which point theyre committing crimes in front of my eyes, he said.
Stockton Police said the man in the video wasnt arrested or even cited.
But Batman said many of the bad guys he goes after do end up behind bars.
He recently started letting his wife capture cell phone video of the incidents which are now documented on his Facebook page.

TTIUWP! & What does Robin look like?
Nevermind...
Understand being upset, but this is STOCKTONE ,pay backs are certain.
What happens if he nabs an illegal or black gang member for a crime? Will he be labeled a racist?

When politicians care more about collecting traffic ticket fees and have turned lawn enforcement into Highway bandits looking to only collect the “regulation fees” from those who can pay them, ie. LAW ABIDING CITIZENS. Also throw in a dash of them being political and refusing to bust those who are breaking the law for political purposes ie. Illegals and Perceived slighted minorities...
You wonder why crap like this happens... You wonder why vigilantes are makin’ a comeback..... WEL DUH!!!
I was born and raised in Stockton...I guarantee you, soon the cops there will arrest “batman”.....for making them look inefficient.
Calling Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl!
I've never heard of anywhere that a "citizens arrest" isn't legal. Legality is just one of the problems in a citizens arrest. If this clown gets his azz stomped during his next citizens arrest, nobody is going to be charged with resisting arrest.
The article states "...that hes nabbed hundreds of alleged criminals..." and some get arrested.
I would think that those that he detains who are not arrested would probably have a pretty good lawsuit for Batman
They'd better hurry though. Batman is probably headed for for the boneyard playing this game.
At least now that he has his wife video taping his crime fighting capers, his family will have a recording of his final exploit.
“Yes, he cuffs them.

Never mind this pussy stuff....need to go Paul Kersey on some people.
Why was the meth head not arrested? Was he smoking?

If he nabs a black gang member he’ll be labeled a murder victim.
Low level crime is now legal in the fruitcake state.
“Batman is probably headed for for the boneyard playing this game.”
Correct.
He’s in Stockton. And now he’s on the news.
And the Cracker is detaining brothers without a badge.
He won’t be long for this world.
Just like it is in your state. And most of the western world. We live in an era of general lawlessness everywhere.
Which is the incubation media for a Fascist, totalitarian government like they have in China and many far eastern countries.
Correct. I do live in Oregon.
Correct. I do live in Oregon.
Circa 1974 Stockton by square foot price for a residential property was the costliest real estate market in California. A coworker from the area said it was because for years the city would approve no new building permits for residential units. The reason was to avoid more kids in schools and the various support costs for each resident (police, fire, libraries, etc.). Curious as to what has happened in that somnolent town since then to put it in the sh*thole category.
