Yes, it’s a violation of the law.

What law is violated? I'm not being belligerent - I just don't see any legal violation.

Unless the violation is the recording itself, perhaps - I'm not sure what NYS law says on the matter.

I cannot speak for NY law, but MA law would not admit a recording that was made with out the permission of one of the parties.

Plus, attorney client privilege would apply.

Finally, the reason this WAS leaked is because its inadmissible. But it is damaging.

I have a hard time believing that this will not result in someone at the FBI getting fired.

The FBI guys are always talking about not being able to speak about ongoing investigations...such bullshit. That whole organization should be put through the ringer. Where is Sessions.

The ONLY upside to this is whether or not Trump’s lawyer had other information that should be made public—information that might have been in that safe for “safe keeping.”

What you are addressing there, is my statement that prostitution and purchasing sex is against the law.

I was not referencing the recording, which does change from state to state, and possibly in some municipalities or counties also.
