Ever since President Trump misspoke on Monday at the Helsinki summit, the media has been spun up into a frothing frenzy.

I did not hear a “misspeak” in the original. To me it sounded like a New York “wouldn’t.” I heard something like woont, which in my experience with northerners has meant the negative of the word i.e. wouldn’t. If that is so then he “backtracked” as a ploy to elicit a reaction which he had calculated.
Or he realized it would cause an even more hysterical reaction if he had tried to explain the pronunciation.

If the Rats do not take Congress or the Senate in November, come January it is going to be a blood bath. Trump is going to spend the next two years getting even with Hillary and Obama as well as turning SCOTUS loose on Roe v Wade, just to shove it in Schumer’s face.
Speaking of which, has anyone noticed, that we haven’t seen any recent polls on the Congressional election predictions?
For a while we were getting constant updates how the Dems were up 9 points or 12 points in the generic party support.
Now they aren’t reporting these poll results at all.
My guess is that the latest numbers are bad news for Democrats, so the media have decided not to report on this subject.

I suspect all that will begin to occur in September or October at the latest. If Mueller is not part of the project, and he may be if he has been discretely informed that he himself faces a few years in the Federal hotel, then I expect that he is planning some spectacular but unfounded charges in October. If so he will be pre-empted when the spillway gates are opened and the swamp begins to drain in earnest.
I watched the presser on NBC. After it was over, I started to troll CNN and (p)MSNBC for commentary. Within seconds, they both were talking the same points and with the same level of high outrage.
From this, I can guess 1)Something Donald said triggered them equally in all ways, or 2)it was all set up before the press briefing to show such moral outrage.
I suspect the latter as the uniform response was just a bit too coincidental.
I fear that as well, and they’ll make it look like the Russians did it. Mark my words.

And also, why haven’t we heard Nancy Pelosi delivering her usual election-year declaration that the Democrats would definitely take back Congress?
This is becoming a mystery, like Sherlock Holmes’ dog that didn’t bark. Things can’t be going very well in the Democrats’ doghouse or we would have heard a few yaps from Nancy by now.
This constant anti-Trump melodrama is tiresome. After the mid-term elections, I believe Trump is going to crush the never-Trumpers, drain the swamp, bury the media, and destroy Mueller & Company.
