My County isn’t on my FOID nor is it on my CCL. No one has ever said “I can’t sell you this rifle because you live in Cook County.”

Since you live in Illinois and I do not, I will defer to your personal experience.

However, your county does go on the 4473 you fill out with your rifle purchase.

True dat. But I’ve never see a clerk so much we glance at that line. Many are done electronically these days so the clerk doesn’t even see the data.
