On Facebook, the gallery posted the illustration with the caption: 'The same people offended over a "death threat" are the same people upholding death threats &violence. Irony.'
That post was then deleted.
Pictures of the image went viral on social media, prompting widespread reaction.
The blowback has been so fierce that even nearby businesses that had nothing to do with the drawing say they’ve been receiving angry phone calls.
‘It's been a crazy, crazy morning,’ said Dane Johnson, who works at an automotive shop a floor above the art gallery.
‘I've had threats to have rocks thrown through the window. I've had threats that we're never going to do business with you again. The threats have come from people nationwide, Johnson said.
By Tuesday morning, the image was scraped off the window facing the street, but the same illustration could be seen hanging inside.
One Grand Gallery’s Instagram page features a number of provocative anti-Trump drawings and illustrations.
One image shows a person giving the middle finger to a Trump building in Las Vegas.
Another mocking image shows Trump with his hair made to appear disheveled and infinitely bigger than it really is.
The beheading illustration is similar to a photo from last year in which comedian Kathy Griffin is seen holding up a doll which looks like Trump's severed head.
The image was so shocking that Griffin was widely criticized. She also was forced to cancel professional gigs after she was condemned.
I know we conservatives said Obama was a novice, idiot, shouldn’t be in the WH, etc. But I cannot remember images of him being hung, or burned alive, etc. at any time unless my memory fails me. What’s happening now??!! Blows my mind.

Strange to find a business hellbent on seeing their building vandalized or destroyed displaying offensive window displays.

scratch the surface of the majority of “liberals” and you will find an ISIS style fanatic who would just as soon kill the people who dare disagree with them. In 2008, I watched as people I thought were really nice people, turn into foaming at the mouth hate-filled people who viciously attacked Palin, calling her every name in the book, and even advocating that she be killed. In 2015 onwards, I seen the same people who despised Palin, turn their vicious hatred on Trump. I just can’t figure out how people can fixate all their hatred, and there seems to be a bottomless well of hatred in so many of them, on a single person or group of people. They must be really sick, and soulless people.

Tell you what. Put the same picture with Obumagabe being beheaded. That will get you some real, not imagined, violence.
