I agree, but there’s not enough people - that is, what the press considers “people,” which is not us - supporting him and I think he was intimidated.

I don’t think Trump capitulated to them today, but he should have told them to wait and tomorrow, after he had had time to think about it, he could have called a press conference where he might have been firmer. But they’ve already distorted what he said because it sounded weak.

But today was a good test of support in Congress...and the GOP failed again.

He knows he has no backup, or power. This is why he endeavored to explain himself again. Doing what what asked of him.

Only it matters not, and he knows it.

He still is in the same boat as yesterday, unable to conduct foreign policy as he sees fit, and as every other President has been able to do.

This is unprecedented, and very, very, very, dangerous.
