House minority leader Nancy Pelosi said in a Monday statement that President Trumps refusal to condemn Russian meddling in the 2016 election during his joint press conference with Vladimir Putin proves the Kremlin is using damaging information of some kind to exercise influence over him.
When asked about Russian election meddling during the press conference that followed his meeting with Putin in Helsinki, Finland, Trump appeared to side with with Russia over his own intelligence community, calling Putins denial of responsibility strong and powerful before questioning why Russia would interfere in U.S. elections.
President Trumps weakness in front of Putin was embarrassing, and proves that the Russians have something on the president, personally, financially or politically, Pelosi said in a statement. This is a sad day for America, and for all Western democracies that Putin continues to target.
Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer condemned Trumps conduct during the press conference in a slightly more reserved tone than his House counterpart.
A single, ominous question now hangs over the White House: What could possibly cause President Trump to put the interests of Russia over those of the United States? Schumer said in a statement. Millions of Americans will continue to wonder if the only possible explanation for this dangerous behavior is the possibility that President Putin holds damaging information over President Trump.
The Democratic leaders were joined by a number of prominent Republicans in lashing out at Trump. It will be a sad day when this buffoon ever gets near the speakership again.
Correction, they don’t have something on him, they had something for him,Putin gave those 30,000 emails of Hillary he hacked from her phones and computer
The Pakistani IT managers bamboozled lots of dem data on lots of dems. MAYBE Putin has the Obama sealed records.
It is all a matter of denial on the dims part. But it is a poker chip.
Meanwhile the same blathering fools are still blathering and the media cabal is still refusing to report truthfully and continues manipulation of the public (which is not part of 1A).
We need to force the dems to say what was hacked instead of merely that it was hacked

President Trumps attempt to walk back the dangerous, disgraceful & damaging show of his Blame America First policy embarrasses our nation even further. After watching the President cower in front of Putin, the American people now deserve to know what Trump will do now.
@#$%^&*!
Un-REAL!
It must be sad for her to realize dementia is setting in and she will soon lose her mind and spend her remaining days drooling on her pillow.
The menopause has infected her tiny brain.
So she is assuming he did not admonish Putin in private?
Dear representative Pelosi - let’s add to the statements of truth — the truth is that your news conferences not only show but absolutely prove that you are NOT FIT to be an elected official. I feel sorry for you because you definitely need medical attention and are too engrossed in yourself to seek it.
The menopause has infected her tiny brain.
That ship sailed a LONG time ago.
More likely that the Russians have ‘something’ on Hillary. Like many others, except deplorables, Russians probably believed HRC would win election. hmm, where could 33,000 emails be...and why did Debbie Wasserman Schultz fight so hard for her buddy, Mr Awan??
