"He was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. He attended the Immaculate Heart of Mary Elementary School, and graduated from Saint Joseph of the Palisades High School in West New York, New Jersey before enrolling at Fordham University in New York City."
"While riding a bus to class at Fordham, he saw an ad in The New York Times that said the CIA was recruiting, and he felt a CIA career would be a good match for his "wanderlust" and his desire to do public service. His studies included a junior year abroad learning Arabic and taking Middle Eastern studies courses at the American University in Cairo."
"In 1976, he voted for Communist Party USA candidate Gus Hall in the presidential election; he later said that he viewed it as a way "of signaling my unhappiness with the system, and the need for change.""
"He received a B.A. in political science from Fordham in 1977."

He comes across as a hate-filled, vile, America-hating Marxist, who should be in jail for spying on Americans and lying to Congress. I am extremely unsurprised to learn he supported the Communist Party in the past. I can hardly think of someone in the public eye I would think it more likely to be an actual Communist.
Knowing that there are people like him in positions of power is one of the key reasons I’m still not sure I have faith in the future of this country, even with the progress Trump has made to save it.
There was a time when voting for the commie candidate would have been a disqualifier for any type of government work. Shows how long the CIA has been compromised
I unfortunately..think they won't.
Like East St. Louis, Illinois.

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and votes communist, it’s probably a communist duck.
Communist and muslim. That’s two. Proof positive he is no friend to American freedom.
Gus hall looks like a bitter serial killer ....... a perfect Presidential candidate for John Brennan.
__________
That's true. I was investigated prior to my joining the Army Security Agency around 1970, and the initial investigation was very rigid.
I have not, personally, been there, but my father and uncle were truck drivers, hauling hogs and corn from eastern Missouri. They had many hair-raising tales of East St. Louis.
you gonna post that to every single thread today?
The best way to see East St. Louis is in your rear view mirror.

Yeah, as much as I support Trump, I really wouldn’t go so far as to call Putin anti-Stalinist. Actually, a lot of his remarks had him if anything outright supporting Stalin to such an extent that he had the film “The Death of Stalin” banned from Russia. If he were truly anti-Stalin, he would have let the film play there.
Funny you should mention the Jesuits, because Gus Hall, the guy Brennan voted for, actually paraphrased Denis Diderot, who alongside Voltaire and his Encyclopedie ilk were the reason why the Jesuits were forced out of France. I fear that them being exiled is ultimately the reason why they are now in the rut they are now, including Francis (he doesn’t even DESERVE to be called a Jesuit with his Red politics).
Another way to look at it though, is that Russia sees how we are trying to jettison our history because the people back then were “racist”.
What does that accomplish? What’s done is done. Russia perhaps wants to avoid the cynicism that comes with such jettisoning of history.
BTW, guys, just so you know, Gus Hall paraphrased Denis Diderot in that last sentence. That should tell you just how joined at the hip Communists and the French Enlightenment truly were.
They could just go back to the Tsarist Russia model, completely jettison Communism, though. That was what Russia originally was, after all.
