I feel like this guy is sincere. At the same time I understand people being hesitant as Democrats love to lie. Perhaps he should run for a seat in the house, establishing a good voting record and then make a push for senate in a few years.

The democrat party has changed just a little bit in the last hundred years. Just sayin’. My parents were democrats till the end. Why???? Just because that’s how they started many decades ago.

I am avoiding my leftist relatives also. Hearing the political controversies and seeing and feeling the rancor those controversies engender makes me physically ill. I’m avoiding it like ... the plague.

Fortunately, my Mom's position was different. Her dad was a small businessman (had a baker shop.) She was Republican, so their votes cancelled each other out.
