Hubby and I have had it, with Fox News giving SO MUCH AIR TIME to FakeNews CNN, MSNBS, etc.

I’ve said it before...if not for FNC....these stations would have practically NO viewers, at all.

Pax and I try to keep ping pix at a minimum. At this point we do a daily ping. We are both up to modify this if everyone wants to maybe go to a Sunday posting and Tues and Thurs Ping for example. NO dictatorship here! LOL

Ray had HUGE pings with sometimes 30 pix and we did have dozens of people leave the thread for that reason. He worked very hard for us with pix and news postings and we miss him but for many the large pings were problematic

Currently here on the Dose —The opening post and new thread is to be a recap of the prior week. I use your info and pix for the most part.. sometimes I hunt around elsewhere. This too is open for modification if the majority want change.

Sometimes the best pix are AP, Reuters etc. This morning I had thread ready to post in the preview box and HORRORS there were 8 pix from either AP or Reuthers... So another half hour of modifying the HTML to not get thread pulled for being naughty. NOT fun in 90 degree temps in the van in front of library

So this week with all going on had a lot of activity and pix. Some weeks I am hurting with very few things occurring and very few pix.. those threads are much smaller

Just back at wifi briefly.. ordered my Mediteranium sub from Dominoes..

Hang in there hon... several here are caretakers in trying situations and it is good to be able to support each other.

I took care of my invalid mom for 20+ years.. Didn’t work, marry or do a lot of things I desired.. Life can pass you by easily, even if /when you are doing the right thing

I’m fine with the thread the way it is. I love the pictures both you and Pax post. I like the way you recap the previous week and add humorous pictures too. I appreciate Pax’s pictures of beautiful meeting places, wonderful snacks Jeeves has prepared, and the occasional peek at Jeeves himself!

thanks for all the videos.. you know it is interesting. Looking at the city, the people — this could be anywhere almost USA.

Someone mentioned the reporter telling about the four protest signs but neglecting to tell all the supporters present

They wonder why the pool is ignored, not informed and belittled. They are like bunch of 4 years olds whining and complaining. Shouting out rudely. Snarky comments on our first lady. Belittling POTUS occasional golf outings.

They are really useless for the most part.

I don’t have access to TV (well I have several nice ones, if they still work) but even when I had power I seldom had on TV. Never the news and rarely anything else. I used the TVs to watch Blu Rays and DVD movies!

I get my news from you all HERE. If I didn’t do the weekly positing of thread and someone else did I would possibly on occasion just go over the initial post to see what happened last week

Hope all had a good weekend. I worked two days and it is/was sooooo hot when I got home. Poor Lucy. She stays with a neighbor while I am at work and I am glad she is in Air-conditioning for a few hours.

Today after I did the thread, I took her to a small community park/lake that is really pretty ignored. I park in shade and read and do stick with her. She loves the water. I also give her a deep scrub bath (ACV) for her candida. Finish off with an organic herbal conditioning shampoo.

Okay going to finish reading all the comments here and looking forward to finding out about the meeting with P. I think they will do famously together. Mutual respect. Of course we won’t get the view from posting media.

The Daily Mail despite it’s bias is still the best place for coverage on our president, I believe

I don't know what burr got up your butt .. I have been a Trump supporter since the day before he took that now infamous elevator ride. I have also been a participant in this weekly thread since before it was one.

But life is too damn short for your continued insults.

95% of my internet check ins is on my iPhone. difficult is an understatement. My weekly posts, pings during week and the monthly posting of a social thread at The Right Reasons is my only use of computer.

awe, thank you for your support. My situation at best is embarrassing but as with all things in life, you just have to do the best you can in any situation.

somethings you must give up and somethings you have to work harder to accomplish.. Getting older does add to the mix with health issues and financial issues always present..

Thanks for all the good things you post Miss NIKK... miss you on Facebook. Did you find it uncomfortable? I have so few lib contacts there and the ones I kept are decent so I find it a nice way to keep in touch with friends around the world
