The paraglider incident tells me that the President should get a CCW and some range time. Apparently he can’t count on his designated security to resolve threats, so self-protection would be in order.
You did see him golfing in his kevlar jacket yesterday.
From what I have read, the president does carry or at least he used to. I am astonished by this incident. Glider could have thrown anything or shot at the POTUS.
