Does a nation have a right to defend its culture? Or does opposition to massive immigration of people from different cultures with a history of non-assimilation amount to racism?
The latter was clearly the view of two of Joy Reid’s guests on her MSNBC show this morning. Reacting to President Trump’s criticism of massive European immigration, expressed during an interview with the UK’s The Sun newspaper, guest Bobby Ghosh said:
“[Trump] is saying Europe has allowed too many immigrants; it’s spoiling European culture. That is classic racist speak."

My very wise aunt always told me, if you’re going to have the name, you may as well play the game. So, we need to invite all white South Africans (who are being persecuted-murdered, often tortured first-which is persecution on racial grounds by any definition) to come here as asylum seekers. They are largely hard-working, educated, productive people who would be an asset to any nation. If we really need immigrants, they are exactly the kind we do need.
Not one of these people calling for unvetted immigration by all comers has put their money where their mouths are, and they never will. This is just another way to show the peons that we have no say in their plans for “utopia” (from which utopia they will keep themselves apart. Diversity is only for the “little people”).
