The enormity of the situation is that Mueller violated the unwritten rules of counter-espionage, which were forged through many trials and errors over thousands of years. One of these unwritten rules says the detected spy no longer poses a threat. It is not necessary to arrest, or indict, or imprison him. You can try to convert him into a double agent, but the probability of success cannot be predicted.
A much more effective method of working with an unmasked spy is to use the spy as a channel for disinformation. Keep him in the dark. Use the spy so he does not even know about it, and that his reputation among his colleagues and his leadership remained untainted.
Mueller's indictment publicly disclosed the names of a dozen GRU officers engaged in computer espionage. What will the GRU leadership do? Of course, they will begin to treat their work with a certain degree of disbelief, knowing that they are all potential targets. In other words, Mueller slammed the door in front of the FBI counterintelligence officers. The FBI will not be able to flip these Russians, nor provide them with disinformation.

Weasel Mueller thinks nothing of SWATing minor white collar purpoted crooks nor of completly flaying attourney-cliet privilege.
Weasel Mueller should indict Putin while he is at it.
How did he find these Russians ? Did they leave their names ?

Muller is colluding with the Russians!
Booby’s your typical bureaucrat
He’s gotta justify his existence somehow
Laura Ingraham was insufferable last night, so shocked that a foreign power would try to gain intelligence on us. They do it a lot, like ALL THE TIME, as does China. You don’t need Mueller for this garden variety investigation. Maybe be more careful next time. Don’t set your password as “password”, don’t play fast and loose with highly classified information, don’t store data on your own private computer. These are all helpful lessons, but they’ve already been learned. What a bullsh!t waste of taxpayer money this has all been.
Putin isn’t his target, Trump is.
Names? Boris Bdeenov, Natasha Fatale, Fearless Leader, and numbers 1-9 from Smersh. Dirty Bob can now retire and wait for the next opportunity to be the long face of useless lawyers.
Let’s discuss Obama’s meddling into Israel’s election in his effort to defeat Bibi!!
Putin can, if he wants to (and he may not want to, he likes having Trump’s admin in a bind) end Mueller’s charade with this latest indictment. How? He can name those 12 GRU agents as diplomats, post them to the UN or a Russian consulate, and then send them to the US to answer Mulehead’s charges. Won’t that be hysterical! Mulehead in another “Oh crap. They showed up to court after all” moment.
I somehow think Mueller won't be stupid enough to make the Concord Management mistake again. We will see.
What a great observation by the author.
Thanks for sharing.
Why did Mueller and Rosenstein announce indictments naming names and destroying any ability for the US to profit for all the counter intelligence activity that revealed the hackers systems and methods?
What did they gain? Who was protected by such a move?
Either way, the deep state can not be happy with the bright light shining on them.
They are used to doing anything they want to anyone they want with impunity.
They ALL come across as psychopaths. Arrogant, smarmy, narcissistic psychopaths.
Lynch, Holder, Brennan, Clapper, Mueller, Rosenstein, Smirk - all of them.
This doesn’t end well for any of them.

+++++++++++
The Central Intelligence Agency, better known as the CIA, has over 21,000 employees whose job is to gather information about foreign entities, friend or foe. Spying is an important piece of that mission. Its one of those cases where Everybody Does It is actually true.
Laura is a pretty smart gal but she blew this one.
It will be fun finding out how long Mueller’s been sitting on these indictments, choosing the most appropriate time for Rosenweasel to make them public. Kind of like how Peter Strzok sat on the info about Hillary’s new found emails on Weiner’s laptop for a month before he shared the info with his boss. And how the DOJ sat on Congressional requests to have Lisa Page appear for seven months, never notifying her about any of them. Games people play. Delay, obfuscate, obstruct, delay, delay, delay.
They forget...
Why didn’t Rosenstein indict Putin? It would hav3 had the same effect.
So they blame Trump with their crimes. Use trickery to establish a special counsel. Investigate Trump for their crimes. Use the investigation to cover up their own crimes. Then blame trump for their illegal conduct ? Or wrap up all the little pieces into some type of obstruction or conspiracy charge ?
