Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced on Friday that 12 Russian intelligence officers was indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller in the ongoing Trump-Russia investigation. The officers are members of the GRU, and are all named as having allegedly hacked the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Democratic National Committee, and the Hillary Clinton campaign. CNN reported that prosecutors from Mueller's office and the Justice Department's National Security Division gave a grand jury indictment to a D.C. federal magistrate judge on Thursday morning. The indictment comes just one day before President Trump is set to meet Russian president Vladimir Putin in Helsinki for their first one-on-one meeting
This Bongino podcast is about Strzok. The thread you are on is about a Mueller indictment.
“The indictment comes just one day before President Trump is set to meet Russian president Vladimir Putin in Helsinki for their first one-on-one meeting.”
More politics in the timing of the announcement. Mueller’s objective is transparent.
Its all one big scandal. Strzok started the Mueller investigation.
The Day After Roswell.
Have the book now, which I bought with several others recently, but I have not yet read past page 80. Lots of great anti-communist stuff and his theories of a secret US replacement government for one the voters think is real (The Deep State now). Great stuff.
Exactly. The headlines and the indictment are misleading. They say the Russians hacked the DNC. What really happpened is they attempted to hack it. There is no proof that they ever got in. This whole indictment sounds like it came from the intellegence assesment that was released last year. They say Russia orchestrated hacking attacks during the 2016 presidential election. That is not what the assessment said. What it said was that the hacks are consistent with the methods and motivations of Russian-directed efforts. That is NOT the same as saying that Russia is responsible for the hacks. It is the hackers just use the same methods as Russian-directed efforts ( or more accurately - the Russian - directed efforts are using the methods the majority of hackers use worldwide ).
There is no evidence at all tying it to Russia. There are a lot of ASSUMPTIONS. They say it is Russian military AND civilian. All the evidence points to Russian civilian and they just include military in it. All their "evidence" is are a few domain names that end in .ru and a list of IP addresses from around the world. 70 percent of those IP addresses are TOR exit points which a majority of the hackers in the world probably use. NOTHING in it points to the Russian government. Another bit of "proof" they use are a list of hacker names. They say that these names are other names used by the Russians. They base this on that they used the same techniques as the "Russians". Well, yeah, every hacker ( and this includes the Russians ) in the world are going to be using the latest techniques, thus they will be using the "same techniques" . That does not make a hacker a Russian agent.
Mueller has never interviewed Assange- the one person who would know where the docs came from. He also seems to ignore the report by former NSA analysts ( the group Forensicator ) that showed the operation took 87 seconds. This yields a transfer rate of 22.7 megabytes per second. .... No Internet service provider, such as a hacker would have had to use in mid-2016, was capable of downloading data at this speed.
What is the maximum achievable speed? Forensicator recently ran a test download of a comparable data volume (and using a server speed not available in 2016) 40 miles from his computer via a server 20 miles away and came up with a speed of 11.8 megabytes per secondhalf what the DNC operation would need were it a hack. Other investigators have built on this finding. Folden and Edward Loomis say a survey published August 3, 2016, by www.speedtest.net/reports is highly reliable and use it as their thumbnail index. It indicated that the highest average ISP speeds of first-half 2016 were achieved by Xfinity and Cox Communications. These speeds averaged 15.6 megabytes per second and 14.7 megabytes per second, respectively. Peak speeds at higher rates were recorded intermittently but still did not reach the required 22.7 megabytes per second. That transfer speed is consistent with the speed of transferring a file to a USB stick.
This whole indictment announcement is just more of the political theatrics of Rosenstein. The press will lap up the headlines and claim hat Russia hacjed the DNC. When you actually look at their "evidence" it supports nothing of the sort.
Interesting concepts.
As a casual observer, I can’t help but notice the recent willingness of our Military/Government to disclose videos of unexplained encounters.
Personally, I think it’s all BS.
However, I can’t help but to consider the implications “IF” our Governments declared Aliens/E.T.’s to be real and a threat.
What better way to assert complete Government control than to have a scary and threatening adversary in which our only savior is the Government?
FWIW, I haven’t read any of those books.
To re-establish the “legitimacy” of the investigation after the Strzok hearing and IG report.
The media and the Dems trumpeted it as a major breakthrough in the investigation, proof that there was no “witch hunt” against Trump, etc. Nevermind there are no allegations or evidence of “Russian collusion” that was the point of the “witch hunt” attacks by Trump.
Mueller could indict anyone he wants. This doesnt mean he has any proof, which he doesnt.
Satan. Soros reports to Satan.
pssssst...FBI...it was Seth Rich and they KILLED him because of it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The FBI knows that, heck at this point it wouldnt surprise me if they did it.......
Absolutely bizarre Oligharchy operations, since when does a “Special Prosecutor” (whatever the heck that is) somehow have the power to get involved in foreign affairs ? Indicting Russian officials ? WTF ? who the hell is this clown Robert Mueller and how does he have any authority whatsoever ........this is bizarre
If Roger Stone is not aware of it, I will tell him here. Within a month, some night at 4 am the FBI will come blazing through your door guns drawn. Throw you phones and computers and paperwork away.......NOW
question: how in the hell does he know them by name?
Attempts to mess with the counting computers failed.
Assuming that there were any such attempts.
Touche!
“The report, which broke late Friday, said that US intelligence gave a $100,000 down payment to a shady Russian operative who pocketed the cash and took off without producing a promised goldmine of espionage assets including alleged photos of Trump in a sexually compromising position.”
