They have been working that plan for months and it has lost them even more viewers. Nobody wants their president belittled. They might want him to answer tough question in a dignified manner but they need to be asked in a dignified manner. The American public is done with the gotcha moments. They see it as a low blow not playing by the rules. The only way a low blow works is if everyone wants the country to fail when it comes to the President.

It has been theorized on FR that CNN is paid enough by the DNC and Soros, and other deep-pocketed leftists and that they don't really care about ratings.
They have the choice to die or change. Would not the appearance of being in the middle then changing to liberal during election cylcles like Fox does not help at this point?
