I love FR and onyx and donate every quarter, BUT, for years I have been imploring Jim to charge everyone a small fee, say $10/year to participate and then these 360 days/year Freeperthons could be cut back to 1 or 2 per year.
I will continue to donate and bitch about the FREE LOADERS, that are jumping in the wagon, waiting for a few of us to pull the load.

Sell ads to raise funds
There is no way that they would compromise the integrity of FR. There should be lots of conservative businesses who would jump at the chance to advertise in FR.
Just my two cents worth.

and all the old guys that always ask other people if they donate- now’s your chance to step up and join the team. They are looking for volunteers. so instead of being a nosy PIA, you’d actually be legit.
