Wow! Weve heard rumors that Mays government was screwing Brrcit or the recapture of British independence and sovereignty. But the rumors seemed too incredible to believe. This now is terrible news for the British people

While Trump apparently had to agree not to meet with Farage on the trip, I imagine him chatting by phone from The Beast or the American Embassy or wherever, as he goes about his visit.

1. The British people voted for Brexit.
2. May, who campaigned against Brexit and voted against it, was immediately placed in charge of enforcing it.
3. Why should anyone be surprised at what she is doing to cancel it?

From what I understand May’s rise was the result of the falling apart of a collation. She is unelected and unready for this position, and also doesn’t agree with Brexit.

Theresa May was opposed to Brexit to begin with, as was her predecessor David Cameron. Cameron stepped down because he refused to implement Brexit after the referendum, May stepped in because unlike Cameron, she allegedly agreed to withdraw from the EU in spite of her personal views. What it meant in practice is maintaining the status quo in everything but name.
The Tories would have been much better off with Johnson or Farage, i.e. somebody who actually wanted to implement Brexit rather than subverting it from within.

He knows 3/4 of cable news talking heads have no chance of saying “Wrecked Brexit” correctly .

Pretty good Presser today with the two of them.
I’d be cautious of the media trying to frame the narrative in order to sow disunity and generate headlines.
