Several interns on Capitol Hill for a program geared toward young black Republicans said an Uber driver refused to give them a ride together in Washington this week because two of them were carrying pro-Trump “Make America Great Again” hats.

The incident unfolded Tuesday, according to the interns, when they piled into an Uber to head to a monthly gathering of supporters of the president at the Trump International Hotel in Washington.

In interviews with Fox News, three of the interns said the driver picked them up at George Washington University. But after the driver asked them about the famous pro-Trump red hats, he told the interns he couldn't give them a ride, they said.

The interns, who have been working for Republican lawmakers this summer, said they were forced to get out of the Uber car

Fine -- if Uber doesn't want to have Trump supporters as passengers, then Trump supporters shouldn't use Uber.

The driver is driving for Uber, thus he is representing the company.

How about a “National Day Without Uber”?

Burn them to the ground.

So, if they needed to go to the Emergency Room because one of them was having a Heart Attack, the Uber Driver could refuse to take them?

Isn't Transportation considered Public Accommodation?

The only cure is to make them ALL bleed. We are dealing with genetic stupid, here. Bone deep, incurable. The tantrum has to hurt.

They should’ve said it was racism and blaming the MAGA hats was a cheap excuse.

Until we start smearing the leftists the same way they do us they won’t learn a thing.

If Uber does not apologize and fire this driver by EOD Friday, I will never use Uber again. Alternatives exist. /an Uber VIP rider with over 2,400 rides with a rider rating of 4.96 out of 5.00

Here's the Uber Non-Discrimination Policy:

Uber seeks to ensure that safe, reliable, and high-quality transportation options are available to everyone. Uber and its affiliates therefore prohibit discrimination against riders or drivers based on race, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, sex, marital status, gender identity, age or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal or state law. Such discrimination includes, but is not limited to, refusing to provide or accept services based on any of these characteristics. Any rider or driver found to have violated this prohibition will lose access to the Uber platform.
I presume that "heart attack" would fall under "disability," so Uber would be justified in firing the driver. Any additional punishment for the driver would come from the government.

The driver is driving for Uber

The driver is an independent contractor to UBER

Spokeshave2 who drives for Uber

And who got a negative review after red pilling a customer

But didn't make a federal case about it.
