I seem to recall an article or post a while back counting the numbers that came to the states and the numbers that went to central and south America and the Caribbean islands. We got the least as I recall. Correct as needed.

We get the 95% blame, for 5% of the reality.
You are correct.
South America got the vast majority of slaves.
Many multiples of what the (now) US did.
And don't forget, it wasn't the "USA" for centuries.
It was Spanish, British and French colonies bringing the slaves in.
