I feel the same way. He promised to drain the Swamp. Its long since past time for him to start doing that. No more tweets or words. Only action will fix the problem. But I have to admit, I am losing optimism that he will do it.

There’s only going to be one shot at draining the swamp sufficiently to have a major impact. This means they need to get all the significant players in the first go or it will fill right back up to where it was or greater in order to protect itself against any future attempts.
The earliest this is likely to begin happening is a few weeks or a month before the mid-terms in order to get things started. The first wave could be Trump declassifying all the documents and getting them made public so all can see what really happened. After the election would be the 2nd phase and would be all the firings and/or prosecutions.
I believe Trump is thinking more strategically. Draining the swamp now (July) by taking charge of the FBI and DOJ would give the Dems and their media allies another opportunity to attempt to show Trump as above the rule of law and use it to Dem advantage in the November mid-term elections.
If the Pubs lose, the Dems will most certainly move to impeach and use the swamp draining as an excuse (obstruction of justice). If that happens, Trump will be in a straitjacket and will be hampered in his MAGA actions. If the Pubs retain the House (and Senate) he will be free to say he has the support of the American people when he does act.
