Yes. The entire city of Asheville North Carolina is simply an incorporated drum circle. You can smell it from just outside the city limits. Basically the Hippies mope about all day waiting for someone to say “drum circle” and then the entire city closes up shop and sits around banging on pots and crap with no discernible rhythm.
LOL. I moved from Texas to North Carolina in March.
Over the July 4th holiday, I decided to visit the Blue Ridge area. But chose not to visit Asheville for the sort of thing you describe. Kind of the NC version of Austin, TX.
Instead, I visited the small town of Blowing Rock, NC, and it was wonderful.
