Germany is not under American “control”. It is freeloading off of America in multiple ways. Insisting that the relationship have reciprocity is not “control”. It’s the basis of a real alliance if there is to be one. If Germany is unwilling to agree to equality, the US needs to pull the troops out and withdraw from NATO.

The money we are pouring into Germany to support our military ops there is going right back out the door to the Russians for oil. Pull our military ops/funding and nobody is paying for the Russian oil OR defending Germany. The Germans will have to pay for both.
