That's how I've pronounced it since first seeing the name.

I don't know why Rush can't figure that out.

Rush knows perfectly well. He just has a habit of playing with names:
“Revvvv-ruunnnnd Jackson”
“Robert B Reeeiiisss-ssshhh”

I’m sure there are many others. It gets tiring after the 1,000th time, though.
