Anti-Trump FBI lawyer Lisa Page refuses to testify, despite subpoena

Lisa Page, the former anti-Trump FBI lawyer who was briefly part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s team, will not attend a Congressional hearing for which she had been subpoenaed, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte confirmed late Tuesday.

Ms. Page was scheduled to testify on Wednesday before the House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform committees.

I keep hearing all that. Oh, yeah....arrests are coming. Prosecutions are coming. Trials and depositions and all manner of nasty things for these nasty people. Yet, they all sure seem to be going about their business as if not one thing is amiss in their little worlds. Not a hint of angst or concern registers from any of them. From 0bamao and the Klintons right down to the foot soldiers of mayhem.

If that's what you've observed of their behavior, I suggest you might watch more closely and dispassionately -- as if you were watching a poker game. We can't see anyone's cards, but it is clear which players are sweating and fearful, and which are calm and confident. Trump and Sessions hold all the aces, and their enemies know it. It's a matter of time before the grand juries absorb and condense it all into actionable charges that span the broad web of this massive plot. Hang in there and trust President Trump!

What we are witnessing on a daily basis is a display of corruption, abuse of power, and arrogance in what has become an out of control fourth branch of government that see’s itself above the other three branches. This is simply unacceptable. Trump must clean house. The American people are losing faith in their government, and for good reason.
Time for the curtains to come down on this show.

I couldn't agree more! But our mounting frustration is necessary and will become useful when broad public support becomes needed for the drastic measures that lie ahead. And if you look at the numbers of senior officials who have resigned or been fired, it is evident that Trump has been very actively cleaning house at DOJ, DOS and key alphabet agencies - and those purges are ongoing.

The bad guys control the FBI and the DOJ. They already have the documents. It's the good guys that don't have the documents.

President Trump controls the FBI and DOJ, and President Trump has all of the documents. Despite the theater, nothing within the Executive Department can be withheld from the president. When the president wants the good guys (and bad guys) in Congress to have it, they will get it. I believe that day is fast approaching.

Mueller, Rosenstein, Sessions and Wray control the FBI and the DOJ. They believe they are independent, of executive control, and of congressional oversight.

Trump says at some point he will get involved. I believe that day is fast approaching.

I don't pretend to know, but I suspect the president will declassify a lot of documents well before the upcoming midterms. We'll see...
