I am opposed to the death penalty in all cases except for those involving murder or the killing of others.

I went to High School with a man that killed some 20 people after sexually abusing and torturing them. His tactic was never to leave a witness.

Any parent would want their child back, not killed by the perp. Don’t give them a reason to get rid of the witness.

Since your experience with pedophiles seems to be limited to second hand it behooves me to point out to you that they are already likely to kill, not just on purpose to get rid of witnesses but accidentally because prepubescent children are fragile.

Zero dead pedophiles re-offend.

I think the death penalty ought to be on the table for any crime in which the victim would have been justified in resisting with deadly force. In such cases, it is the criminal himself that has placed the value of his own life below the fruits of his crime.

I’m fine with the death penalty. String them up...provided that’s what the state wants to do.

The feds don’t get to overstep their bounds just because you agree with the particular step they’re taking. That’s a dangerous road.
