I don’t know what the heat index was here today but it was much higher than the 90 degrees on the thermometer.
We’ve cooled down to 73 now but it’s still soupy outside.
I know you aren’t thrilled but I’m so glad all the kittens are accounted for now. I was so afraid something bad had happened to them, especially since Lil Bit and Ghost were calling out for them so much yesterday.
I had mixed feelings when I opened that door to let Peaches in and kittens scattered everywhere. I was happy they were still alive and seemingly well, but darn! I wanted someone else to have to deal with them for a change. The siamese one was the last to join the crew this afternoon. I think he was hanging out with his dad somewhere.
I think I have a plan for keeping Li’l Bit under control before her surgery next Monday. Hope it works. I won’t get much sleep, but then when we drop her off, I can take a nice long nap. LOL!
