The fundamental problem with Haiti is that there is too much population for the island to support. If the population were a third of what it currently is they would have a chance to self sustain.

No, the problem is Haiti. They’ve stripped away all the natural resources, they have no industries and a completely ignorant population (since all the good ones have fled) and they’re another one of those Clinton-influenced socialist Caribbean states. There could be only 10 of them left and they wouldn’t be able to sustain themselves.
