It will do nothing but make it easier for Collins and Murkowski to vote no.
You see, here's the thing about that. This represents a once in a generation opportunity to impact the oligarchy - err, I mean court - that rules us - err, I mean ... well actually I mean rules us.
So anyway this is a once in a generation chance to actually effect that in a meaningful way, not just replace a "conservative" with a "conservative". If they block that, it will get them plenty of praise in the press, it will get them invitations to parties.
But will republican donors still fund their campaigns?
