A record number of Americans are quitting their jobs to seek better opportunities, according to Labor Department data first reported by Bloomberg.
The rate of U.S. employees quitting their jobs reached its highest rate in 17 years, rising from 2.3 percent in April to 2.4 percent in May, when 3.56 million Americans left their jobs.
Rising quit rates are considered positive because they often indicate employees are leaving their current positions for jobs with higher wages and better benefits.
The Labor Department data show there were fewer job openings in May than there were in April, but considering Aprils number of job openings was a record 6.84 million, the 6.64 million jobs available in May still indicates a strong economy, Bloomberg reported.
These numbers come as unemployment rates remain very low, reaching 4 percent nationwide in June.
Though President Trump frequently takes credit for the booming U.S. economy, he has alarmed economists in recent months with his aggressive trade policies that target Canada, China and the European Union.
Amazing, isn't it?
MSM newswriting 101:
"While 98% of Americans say the economy under Trump has dramatically improved their lives, few offered little of their personal wealth to the 2% that are still miserable."
I walked out on my last place.
Went into the office on Friday, went to lunch came back, took my name placard off my office and then left my ID badge, Corporate Credit Card and my completely rinsed computer on my boss’ desk. That was 10 months ago. I always wanted to do that and it felt great. My former boss was such a tool.
Winning!

One is in the Space business. He started a new gig at NASA last week. Timing could not be better. He graduated as an Astronautical Engineer a week before Trump announced Space Force.
