As controversial as the Steele dossier has become, it may well prove key to a political corruption scandal far more insidious than anyone has presently suggested. To be sure, critics have blasted its seeming partisan falsity, and many also have declaimed that it enabled the FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign. And there is evidence that the opening of the “Russiagate” investigation was itself premised strongly on this “salacious and unverified” report. But little attention has been paid to the role of American intelligence agencies in its creation, which now is appearing substantial, and which would implicate a governmental conspiracy making Watergate look like child’s play.

This is not to minimize the profoundly troubling questions that this dossier has already presented, including those about the legitimacy of using “human sources” (i.e., spies) to entrap the opposition candidate during a presidential campaign. These questions are being doggedly pursued by Congress, and fought tooth and nail by a DOJ/FBI whose present and former officials face serious jeopardy. For instance, any official who knowingly presented a materially false FISA application, for warrant or extensions, should be guilty, for one, of obstruction of justice under 18 U.S.C. §1505.

But reasonable inferences to be drawn from the known evidence suggest that governmental wrongdoing may be even more darkly sinister than DOJ critics presently imagine, encompassing possible criminality so pervasive and widespread that every top DOJ and FBI official serving in 2016 may face discipline or even indictment. The basis for this pandemic criminality would be the participation of the DOJ, FBI and CIA, not just in the questionable use of the partisan, false Clinton-funded Steele Dossier, but in its planning and development, an issue not yet been meaningfully explored.

Yes it is very clear that the US intelligence agencies spied on a political campaign counter to US laws and democratic principles. I also believe that they were aided by UK, Australian and other foreign intelligence agencies, which I view as a far greater threat to the election process. Mueller must know all this by now, but is not disclosing this. That warrant his firing. Perhaps some FOIA’s might cause some of the facts to come out.

At this point, someone has to go to prison for this. My bet early on was Ohr and his wife, but I think they are going to turn on Strozk and Page, who are going to turn on Rosenstein and McCabe.

Hillary and Obama aren’t going to prison. The Clinton’s, once they know for sure Chelsea has no political aspirations will pay a very large fine, shut down the foundation and go away.

Even without anything else coming to light, what we already know is far, Far, FAR worse than Watergate. The difference is, the media is in bed with all the characters involved, and have a vested interest in making it all disappear as well.

Coups to bring down an elected leader and his legitimate government in other countries are met with hanging... with DEATH.

But we are too civilized to hang anybody. What we do is keep the coup alive with the press and deep state, still attempting to bring down the leader. And dishonest and clandestine means are still employed as it had been with the initial coup.

The left cries about the fascist intolerance of the right when, in fact, we have tolerated the illegal attempt to take down a president. Nobody is locked up, nobody is in prison... and to make matters worse the president is under ludicrous scrutiny for being disloyal while the real perpetrators of the coup enjoy perfect freedom.

Someday this will be looked upon as a farce. This just show the power of the left to influence thought. Nobody is charged with sedition for fear of reprisals of the left, nobody is willing to dismiss the case against Trump for fear of the power of the left. The left carries on with impunity convincing public opinion that Trump is a dictator, a Hitler... that should be stopped by any means. But would a real dictator have tolerated this? Would a real dictator be as tolerant of the left and its members that had illegally tried to take down an elected leader and government?

This is conspiracy so brazed that it carries on as if nothing has happened. To counter it will take a shift in public thinking... and then, perhaps, real justice will be met.
