An elite team of Thai Navy SEALs and foreign rescue divers brought out the final four boys and their soccer coach from a flooded cave near the Thai-Myanmar border, extracting the team through a labyrinth of tight passages after they spent two weeks trapped in darkness.
The operation on Tuesday moved quickly, raising hopes that all 12 boys and their adult coach from the Wild Boars soccer team would be at the surface by the end of the day.
"We are not sure if this is a miracle, a science, or what. All the thirteen Wild Boars are now out of the cave," the Thai navy SEALs, which is helping to lead the operation, said on its Facebook page.
Earlier, the unit had written, "Today, the boar's pack will be reunited again."
One by one, the last of the remaining four boys were carried to ambulances that whisked them to evacuation helicopters and finally, on to the hospital.
BREAKING: Everyone at the press centre - volunteers and media - near the cave site just applauded and cheered as a helicopter flew overhead - flying one or more of the boys to the hospital in Chiang Rai? #ThaiCaveRescue @AFP
Richard Sargent (@rsargent79) July 10, 2018 Still to emerge from the cave: a doctor who has treated the 13 stranded people after they were found last Monday, and three Thai Navy SEAL divers who helped with the complicated and precarious rescue operation.
The boys, ranging in age from 11 to 16, and their coach, 25, set out to explore the Tham Luang Nang Non cave system on June 23, but they became trapped after heavy rains quickly flooded passages. Divers finally located them on July 2, allowing emergency crews to send them food and supplies.

I love a happy ending... God Bless all involved...
Yes....glad you got informed better.
Bless you Holy God, who is kind and merciful, King of the universe, for holding back the rain so the children could be saved.
At least they should do a Moment of Silence for the rescuer who perished.
Actually, read my post and link at 120. Think there is still some confusion
Cave infection would be caused by bat droppings...
Now that they have the time, start drilling that rescue tunnel from above.
This is the first time I have seen these facts being reported.
Never underestimate the ability of the worthless so called "journalists" to distort and confuse a story.
That said, I agree it is a MIRACLE they were all rescued. Thank you Lord!
Rest in peace and prayers for the brave Navy Seal who died trying to save everyone.
Reminds me of The Hot Zone which Im reading right now. Saw the movie years ago, but saw the book in the thrift shop and now Im hearing about cave infections. I think they will be tested for all kinds of infectious diseases and perhaps kept in isolation till the tests come back.
Please read post 120. The Assistant coach took them there. The head coach found their bicycles.
It will be made as a musical about a diverse team of ladyboys heading off to a disco karaoke competition but are sidetracked and experience grief sorrow and the real meaning of teamwork.

The youth soccer coach who led his team into a network of underground caves in Thailand may face charges for putting the boys in danger, according to a report.
Officials are looking into whether to charge the 25-year-old coach of the Wild Boars, identified in local outlets as Ekapol Chanthawong, with negligence for bringing 12 boys ranging in age from 11 to 16 on an excursion into the Tham Luang cave after their practice June 23.
We have to study the matter carefully first, Col. Komsan Saard-an, chief of the Mae Sai Police Station, told the Khaosod English paper on Tuesday, when asked if charges were forthcoming.
Some residents said the coach should have been more prudent.

DON’T condemn me for having an opinion, I have enough information to realize a so called “monk” / coach has no right to present himself as a cave leader explorer, he was wrong to seduce the team of boys , off a soccer field. I Am definitely informed enough to have common bay horse sense . I would never allow my child to dance into a cave . the PROOF is the monk / coach almost caused the DEATHS of the entire group...which is ENOUGH INFORMATION for me ...
if my children were seduced into following the monk nutjob into a death trap cave I would be looking for a tree to hang the SOB
Oh my!!!
