Banning straws in CA will fix the problem.

I am surprised that this study was able to be published. There aren’t that many white people to blame in Asia and Africa.

Absolutely. Make us pay ten cents a bag at the grocery store in California—that should do it.

Oh, wait—it didn’t.

Which would be solved if Palo Alto banned plastic altogether.

I checked, the Duwamish Waterway is not on the list. That makes it clear that this is a lefty symbolic gesture by Starbucks, nothing more. Imagine that.

So Starbucks banning straws is just virtue signalling?

My idiot libtard daughter from L.A. visited me here in north Idaho a couple of weeks ago. She brought me two empty plastic 6 pack can holders and told me to cut the loops with scissors to save the dolphins. I politely told here we don’t have dolphins in north Idaho and threw them in the trash.

This is a golden opportunity to set up a recycling plant at each of the rivers. Scoop it up from the source and sell it back to the schmicks that dumped it, then repeat.

The Mississippi is NOT one of them, even though it drains most of the United States, from New York to New Mexico, Georgia to Idaho.
