Homosexual rights = extra rights and power over others.
Not equal protection of the law and completely WRONG.

That’s how it typically plays out, because of the nature of the beast. It is not the normal kind of political pie splitting, where each diner agrees to keep to his own piece of the pie. The gays want to steal your pie.

Or... maybe not.
The SJW’s will try to stymie EVERYTHING.
What is in place (R vs W, BLTGQ, etc...) ain’t going away - It is in statute and codified! Think pragmatic and vote for pragmatic thought, not this left wing whacko junque that will dry the country up like a bitter, old, barren nag.

If it took a guy who had once been a playboy to fix this problem... it did.

TRUUUUUUUMP

Um... at some point all the pent up pressure on the right will release and then wham. We’ll be back to what was considered center during JFK’s day.

...What they want is for you to approve of their lifestyle...

In my opinion they want GOD to approve of their lifestyle, which means that they will not stop until the government forces God (the Church) to accept them.

"What is a LGBT right? Is it different from, say, a plain-old garden variety right?"

There used be a saying, "One person's rights stop at the point that interferes with another person's rights". I've always believed in the axiom.

My big problem with this gay marriage thing is not their perverse sexual proclivities (behind closed doors, etc.), but the fact they needed to usurp the term Marriage. They already had the ability to enter into contractual agreements. Hetersexuals have to get a marriage certificate in every State that I know of, which is a contract under State laws that defines responsibilities and dissolution of such. Also, think prenuptial agreements between "breeders" - hate that term - another binding legal contract.

Why couldn't the gay community come up with their own words/term? Why did they have to fight against thousands of years of tradition between men and women and leave us be? I know why. What do you think?

Because spurious "Gay Marriage" (I call it "Gay Mirage") makes it easier to get gay-everything into the schools and corrupt whole generations of children.

Seriously.

Notice NBC condemns ‘a Constitutional “right to discriminate”’, but cannot mention/accept a business owners’ right to obey religious conscience.

Dear hitech,

re: “You are “opined.” So, it turns out, is God. Who do you think is correct.”

The word ‘opine’ is a verb, but alas, like the word ‘orgy’, has been turned into a verb.

As to my ‘opining’, there is ‘opining’, informed ‘opining’, and ‘release of gaseous fumes after eating as the act of opining, commonly performed by 99% of politicians’.

As to opining concerning Deity, humans are designed to be flawed, therefore opining on this matter may so be, as well, (even unto me), no matter how ‘informed’.

Dear hitech,

re: “That very carnal talk about a “third nostril” is actually your confession that you can’t come up with the light.

How about letting those who can, do it.”

Instead of ‘third nostril’, an indicator of how I view queers would be spelled e-r-a-d-*********. Let the reader guess what the word might be, in which language.

Dear Hitech,

re: “To fight chiefly in the political realm is to abandon the rest of the fight.”

Sometimes you won’t be able to hire enough folks for the cleanup crew, if this ‘fight’ to be done in real time. Also, the cost of ammunition is way disproportional, lately.

So, the fight is relegated to the war of words and expressed ideas, which is increasingly more like pearls to yadayada, considering the reading comprehension of those who need to be reached the most.
