This is breaking news. No details. There is an ongoing revolt in the British Conservative Party over what is perceived as a cave in the the EU on Brexit. The Brexit minister also just resigned. Since May's government is holding onto power by their fingernails this could lead to a vote of confidence.

He recently wimped out before the UNHRC, threatening to de-fund in SIX MONTHS if they don't change their ways. It's been a classic means of bashing Israel and Johnson was just the delivery boy for a message when he could have given them a clear declaration of contempt for the cow-towing they do to the mooslimes. But I guess he couldn't/wouldn't dare tell them honestly how disgusting their behavior is?
Time for a dark horse to come to the fore and implement Brexit as intended.
It takes 48 MP’s to trigger a leadership vote in the “Conservative” Party and the BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg tweeted she’s hearing whispers that the magic number has been reached.
If that were to happen it would be the fault of the fake Conservatives who were cooking up a fake Brexit under May’s leadership.
More like a situation where we voted for America first trade policies and asked the Bush clan to negotiate them.
From what I've heard it's hardly EU light. Rather they get all the negatives without the positives of being in the EU. Which would explain some ministers having the sense to symbolically ay "this is a travesty and a national disaster, I won't have my reputation behind it".
When Teresa May joined Angela Merkel in griping about how unfair Trump's tariffs were to the EU I thought "well she clearly doesn't think she's leaving the EU at all". And so it was the case.
I certainly hope so.
However, the downside may be the new govt. calling for a re-vote on Brexit.
The 'elites' and most of the UK press has been pushing for that for a while. Classic EU strategy - if the vote doesn't go your way, keep voting until you get the "correct" result.
He could have done that before May even became PM, but he wussed out.
In what way do you believe the constitution has been violated?
Have you read Englands documents? First is the Constitution of 1688? Not talking about Britain.
Trump should stand Strongly with Brexit and screw May into the ground.
Q: The ex-pats you know who are just in it for the money, have any become citizens? Because, to my mind anyway, the folks who come wanting to become American citizens are a different kettle of fish. Which is why I wasn’t talking H1b visas, but a citizenship fast track. :-)
Does the UK even have a formal, written constitution?
The President should Cancel his trip or it would look like an endorsement of May.
As I said, try the expat forums - you have all types, including citizens. They are not the most intelligent people despite their good jobs - they REALLY get upset that they can’t get cheaply their digestive biscuits or Bisto granules or Dairy Milk.
She presided over the jailing of Tommy and has been consistently rude to Trump. Good riddance.
He should have tea with the Queen and then go home - snubbing the rude Parliament.
In Canada the experience is similar, especially among Germans who have come here. Always the same shit, like how much better Germany is. Brits here come for work, and are generally rude, though one guy I know, who is very old, came here to escape the slow moving destruction of Britain way back in the 70s. He hates May.
My best friend in NYC was a tour guide, German-speaking, in the late 80s. The minute she picked up the tourists, they wanted to go see the South Bronx which was in very bad shape at the time. They loved anti-American “poverty porn”. She refused to take them because she had a set schedule and that wasn’t on it! It bewildered her.
