It was way cooler today and the rain was awesome! It rained really hard for a while. And it smelled so good!
How were things there? I never did ask you how things went at the museum yesterday.
Rain AND cooler temps. Guess that was a really nice surprise for everyone.
Our temps were down a touch but the humidity stayed up. We got a splash of rain at the farm yesterday morning but nothing today. Rain chances all week but basically high enough to make it soupy. Not necessarily guaranteed to rain.
It was a busy day at the museum. A lot of folks showed up throughout the day to check it out. A few had been before and wanted to see how different it is now with the newer items that have been put on display. They loved it and said they’ll be back again later to see how much it changes again.
One gentleman tickled me. He said he’d been through Friday with his wife and she didn’t want to go through as slowly as he did. He was back yesterday by himself so he could take his time and he did just that.
It was cool enough first thing when I arrived that I was able to do a little more organizing upstairs. It feels so much better having gotten that done. WHEW! It was bugging me. Now the guys will have an easier time finding uniforms to put on display when they want to.
