Always with the GOPe COMPROMISE and REACH ACROSS THE AISLE BULLSHITE - particularly if an election is around the corner. This RINO political party needs to be put out of it's misery. I want Trump to form a new party, kick the old GOP to the curb just like the WHIGS.

Liberals were falling all over themselves decrying the timing for Justice Kennedys retirement
.Im not so sure that the Democrats werent looking ahead at the midterms with a fair degree of anxiety and thinking if Kennedy retires after the midterms, we wont be in near as good a position as we are right now
. better just go for it rather than wait.

Lets hope that Trump does not go along with them. If the USSC is corrupt against the Constitution then everything is lost. So much has been lost because of them already.

there are times and issues where compromises make good sense
or at least are not super-harmful...
restoring the out-of-control, communistic- ideologic Supreme Court to lawfulness now... is not one of these

“The Sixth Circuit has a reputation for not only being too liberal, but being so liberal that they are reversed more often than any other court. ”
I thought the 9th on the West Coast got that distinction.

Republicans Look to Compromise The Supreme Court, Avoid Controversy in Election Year
Most Republicans only know how to follow, not lead. They are in it for the perks not the responsibility. Champagne, Brie and fat retirement accounts are their dreams of success.

In the seven Supreme Court terms completed since the fall of 2005, the 6th Circuit has been reversed 31 out of 38 times, for an 81.6 percent reversal rate, based on figures compiled by two Philadelphia lawyers. That leads all the federal circuits for that time period, with the 9th Circuit coming in as the second most reversed100 out of 128 cases, or 78.1 percent. Those stats do not necessarily indicate that the 6th Circuit is reversed more than the 9th. To really analyze that, one would need to know the total cases heard by each circuit, the total number appealed to SCOTUS, the number SCOTUS agreed to hear, and then the number reversed.
The best indicator would be cases appealed and reversed by SCOTUS compared to total cases heard in each circuit.
And I certainly hope Kethledge is not the nominee.

I wish all these pundits would hush up and let President Trump make up his own mind.
He is surrounded by advisers who have spent hundreds of hours interviewing each candidate, and doing a hard, hard check of their qualifications. I think it’s safe to say those advising President Trump know more about the candidates than all the pundits put together.
Shutup and get outta the way!
