He could be head-faking everyone and choose someone other than the four getting all the press.

I thought he’d made his decision. There were some reports to that effect.

I don’t know enough about Hardiman to say whether he would be a good justice or not, but I’m not sure this decision should be based in any way on his “personal story”.

So, Anne Coulter’s temper tantrum was effective?

Childish and dishonest.

Kethledge is NOT soft on immigration, unless you consider 5 out of 116 cases “soft”. That’s 97% hardline on immigration. But hey, Coulter knows best.

He would be an outstanding AJ for SCOTUS.

Isn't this the guy The Washington Post referred to as a "Second Amendment extremist"? Please go for it.

Why would he reject a confirmable very conservative judge for a much less conservative judge? Makes no sense.

It is the New York Slimes.

As someone here said earlier, those in the know aren’t talking. Those talking don’t know.

Of the 4 finalists, Hardiman and Barrett seem to be the best choices. I think it’s going to be Barrett even though I lean slightly more towards Hardiman.

Lol, a lot of people seem familiar with the President’s thinking these days. Why is Pryor no longer in the discussion, out of curiosity

This guy must be OK if the press hates him. Here's what Bloomberg's gun-prohibition "newspaper", "The Trace" has to say about Thomas Hardiman, about when he was on the 3rd Circuit, US Court of Appeals:

New Jersey’s strict regulations for issuing gun permits wound up before Hardiman and his colleagues in 2013. The rules require people who want a permit to carry guns in public to show a “justifiable need,” defined as “specific threats or previous attacks demonstrating a special danger to applicant’s life that cannot be avoided by other means.” While the appeals court upheld the law, Hardiman argued in a dissent that New Jersey’s “may issue” requirements violate the Second Amendment because they curtail people’s right to self defense.

Sounds like he's pointed the right direction on one of the key issues.
