An illegal immigrant who ran down and killed an FBI agent and a fire marshal on the side of a highway has avoided jail.
Roberto Garza Palacios, 28, who arrived in the US in Guatemala and has overstayed his visa, paid just a $280 fine for killing Deputy Chief State Fire Marshal Sander Cohen and FBI Special Agent Carlos Wolff in December.
Garza Palacios did not appear in court and the case was closed on June 25 when he handed over the financial penalty, according to court documents obtained by the Washington Post.

Garza Palacios, a native of Guatemala, still faces possible deportation.
On May 3, immigration authorities arrested him after the accident and charged him with overstaying a visa that expired in 2009.
In 2015, Garza Palacios was arrested in Montgomery County and ICE asked him to be placed on hold but that request was not honored.
Humayun stated that the immigration case is still ongoing.
Garza Palacios pleaded guilty to driving while impaired in 2015.
He served a four month stint in jail after smashing windows on 16 cars and lighting a sofa on fire near a construction site.
Well, there you go. Thanks to Montgomery County Maryland, two men are now dead at the hands of an illegal immigrant who should have been deported 3 years ago.

It makes me unbearably sad and angry.
Illegal aliens are actually superior to Americans. If I killed an officer avoiding arrest, I would face the Death Penalty. If I did this in another country, odds are my trial and execution would be within a week.
But illegals here get a court trial and probation with just a minor traffic fine.

I hope the families of the two killed officers sue the shit out of Montgomery County for not holding Garcia for ICE. I think any jury with an IQ of about 5 would find for the plaintiffs.
Also, the killing of a federal officer is a federal offense and should have been tried in a federal court, even if the charge was only “criminally negligent behavior” (i.e. manslaughter due to careless or negligent driving).
Montgomery County and Prince Georges County are the two worst liberal cesspools in the state and are de factor “sanctuary” counties for illegals (except they don’t live where the rich white liberals do). They were the leading counties in supporting once Baltimore Mayor Martin O’Malley, elected governor (D) in his blatantly Marxist fiscal policies which helped elect a Republican governor the next time (Larry Hogan).
If I have my county right, Montgomery County recently elected Jaime Raskin (D-Md) to Congress. He was a local official. His father was the late Soviet-collusionist Marcus Raskin of the communist & liberal foundations funded Institute for Policy Studies (See: S. Steven Powell’s book “Covert Cadre” for an eye-opening read on just what IPS was (as a Soviet propaganda conduit to Congress) and who their founders, leaders and funders were/are.
You take your life into your hands when driving in both PG County and Montgomery County. If you don’t believe me, try driving out Queens Chapel Road in Hyattsville during the day.

Me. too. Not just angry but furious!! I know from reading the local paper that local crime is being forgiven...how can any judge or jury really punish anybody for almost any crime if the federales do not punish people like this or Hillary or any of those criminals or for selling uranium or killing cops, or immigration authorities? It is all a travesty and sometimes I just crash, burn and close up the computer. I hate being helpless. Just hate it. .
