NEW YORKAdorama, an electronics store on West 18th St. in Manhattan, bills itself as, more than just a camera store. On July 5, the store found itself uncomfortably involved in more than cameras, as it became embroiled in the heated feelings surrounding the Walk Away Movement.
Brandon Straka, the founder of the movement that encourages Democrats to walk away from their party, had gone there to purchase media equipment for his burgeoning role as a mediator between the left and the lefts apostates: Democrats who find themselves on a spectrum from loving President Donald Trump to hating the hatred of Trump and his fans.
Straka, whod just had a very busy week on national and international television interviews, had spent over an hour carefully selecting equipment he needed in various departments of the multi-tiered mega-store.
The final piece of equipment he needed was a microphone, so he was sent upstairs where he was recognized at the counter by a customer in front of him. I saw you on Tucker! [the conservative Tucker Carlson Tonight show on Fox], said the excited customer.

You are dead wrong.
Dead wrong.
The company has an obligation to itself, and to all of it’s employees, to learn the truth of what happened before it acts.
You (apparently) want to punish someone based on unsubstantiated rumors.
Dude watches Tucker? Probably roots for the Washington Generals.
He was ON Tucker’s show.

“...and we are shutting down our retail and mail order operations for one day of training of all employees.”
“planning to use this equipment for alt-right purposes?
Wonder what his definition of alt-right is, anyway?
I like B&H
.
I doubt the salesman could provide a coherent definition. Straka is not even a conservative, though he may get there. I hope he does.
Another member of the tolerant left shows how intolerant they are. We are expected to put up with their deviant nonsense day after day in every aspect of our lives, but they will openly attack us and our property if we express our point of view.
Please note the direct quote from Straka in the article:
My instinct is telling me to practice compassion and forgiveness here.”
Straka’s striving for the higher road, as we all should.
My guess is this is not Red Hen situation where management was behind or aware of the vile discrimination.
Adorama, like the other large NYC camera outlet is owned and managed by Orthodox Jews who in general are conservative. They do have a fairly “diverse” front of the house staff.
Adorama would be crazy to take any political stand. Not right wing (most NYC creative types. very liberal)or anti Trump.
sounds like a renegade sales person who needs to be fired, but would probably claim discrimination if he was.
He got a small taste of real Nazism. Now he has a small idea of what the Jews felt under Nazis.
Is that 47th St. Photo? I have not been in NYC in a long time.
I’ve dealt with B&H and Adorama in the past - always a good business experience.
Be careful about bashing an entire business over the antics of one rogue employee. I’ll deal with them again in the future.
Now, if management said that they support this employee’s actions, then I’d have a different view. But they didn’t.
In other words, Adorama is NOT the Red Hen Restaurant.

Nothing about firing the little weasel. If it was a priority they would have.
It’s hard to go wrong by doing your job extremely well.
