An absurd rationalization. A 15-week fetus is no different than a 21-week fetus, OTHER THAN IN DEGREE OF DEVELOPMENT. There is no fundamental difference in kind between either, and the 15-week fetus, left to develop naturally, will become the 21-week infant. Using your rationale, a woman in her ninth month of pregnancy could theoretically die in a plane crash, and her child could be killed, so abortion up to natural delivery would be justified morally. Stupid.

The right to life was likely considered so obvious, it required no “amendment.”
Another opinion looking for a problem. First, there are no abortion cases wending their way to the Court at this time.
Second, the Court has long known that the Roe V. Wade was cut from whole cloth outside the constitution.
Finally, if and when a case comes before the Court, it will have weight only if the question becomes: “May a woman deny life to another individual and at what point is that life protected under the constitution?” Democrats like science so much until it causes responsibility for their actions.

BTW; when is someone going to prove when human life starts? I don't accept it's from inception when the little tadpole burrows its way into the egg. At 20 weeks; yes. I can accept that since there's a living being with a brain and neurological system in place and online at that time but not before.
I have not seen any evidence to prove the jumble of forming cells is a person before that time. At least not yet. Yes, I'm a Christian, but I also think for myself and use logic as well as faith. There's a place for both.

Good points. I believe Tomi’s point is using the abortion issue at this point is not going to help the conservative side win. To make any changes or to keep MAGA we must win.
Others in this thread also made a good point. It’s mostly the left braying on about RvW due to the new Supreme Court Justice to be seated. Their position is their world will fall apart if another conservative who doesn’t believe in the “Pro-Choice” position is seated.
You’re right. They are making much to do about nothing at this point. Who knows what will happen in the years ahead though. The SCOTUS may elect to let the lower court and previous decisions stand for all we know.
It’s obvious to me at this point there is never going to be a compromise from the conservative side and that is unfortunate for all concerned because it likely means things will stay exactly as they are instead of improving.

I agree with you totally, and in his mind and others it is essentially a “victimless” crime as the Mother is given the right to aided by others murder an unborn child because they have themselves deemed it “not human” until some imaginary point they control or contrive
In my mind and view we are way beyond the enough, but as it has been stated there are those who seek to keep it in place for their own dark reasons
