Wise Welcome
Justice for Americans and welcome to well-meaning foreigners who come as blessing. Not open borders and amnesty, but wise welcome that we find in Scripture, including the embrace of Ruth and Rahab, and Nehemiah leading a nation in the rebuilding of its walls and God-honoring culture.

Do you have information that Soros is involved in this particular group? Perhaps you are thinking of the Evangelical Immigration Table which I seem to remember being given Soros money. I haven’t heard of this new group. Will check them out.
Legal, and with wise laws.
On the surface, it sounds like the way to go. It doubtless won’t be perfect — what movement of people who are yet sinners is — but will come as close as anything has to the ideal. Someone needs to be able to stand firmly for a calm biblical center when emotions run high and push comes to shove.
God never said check your mind at the door of the church. He said bring it in and lay it on the altar.
Wayne Grudem's excellent article on Biblical justification of the Wall...
thanks for this!! :)
Thanks for posting!
I like these guys. They kind of sound like sheep in wolves’ clothing. And they provide a well-considered, rational push back to those who would quote scripture for un-Godly purposes.
If God installs leader...those bad and good, those include ones who make laws...ergo, laws are meant to be followed.

Friend, you know it is not that simple.
Liberal Christians and pastors view the alien/sojourner verses as let anyone in. You also have the verses I referred to about God instilling leaders. Liberal Christians would oppose PDJT as a tyrant, and many do. These same ones would allow babies slaughtered in utero. These liberals pretend MS13 doesn’t exist, nor is there any risk in Muslim immigrants, Whidbey to taqiyya, cannot be vetted.
Of the flip side, conservative Christians like myself would see Obama as a tyrant.
Alas, where are we and which path is biblically correct?
“Alas, where are we and which path is biblically correct?”
Apart from the Holy Spirit, there is also this:
“For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have its approval. For it is Gods servant for your good....Therefore, you must submit, not only because of wrath but also because of your conscience.”
Liberal Christians who support abortion and worship Mother Gaia and support every sort of sexual depravity are not christian at all. On the flip side, I didn’t oppose Obama by force neither did I claim everything he did was evil. But I was free to oppose him when he opposed God and when he sought the destruction of God’s people via Supreme Court nominees who wanted to see every shred of religious freedom brought down.
I don’t disagree.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy...”
As per Jesus. ‘Nuff said.
Pagan religions promote their god as being the most powerful.
This is not the argument of scripture, and should not be the argument of Christians.
The argument of Christians and scripture is simply this, and it is not an issue of who is more powerful: Satan is God’s enemy. He was rendered POWERLESS at Calvary, through the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. He is a defeated, conquered, powerless foe, huffing and puffing lies, for he knows his manifest end is soon.
But Satan’s powerlessness was demonstrated through our Lord Jesus before the cross in His earthly ministry.
To say God is simply more powerful than Satan (I hear this too often), is a pagan argument, that is based on an assumption that Satan has power.
He has none. The kingdom of God and the church are to demonstrate that.
Actually Satan was defeated by Jesus in the Wilderness temptations. Had Jesus yielded none of the rest would have followed.
Further Satan is certainly powerful or we would not see the evil we see demonstrated in our world and among mankind... But he is on a leash of how far he can use it. Satans authority and power are limited and subordinate to the authority that is vested in Christ...His power is restricted, limited, and temporal.
The Cross, the Incarnation, the Resurrection, and the Ascension tremendously ‘weakened’ any power or authority that Satan enjoyed, but it didnt annihilate him. That will come later, when Christ completes his work of redemption with the consummation of his kingdom. All things will be brought into captivity to him, and every knee will bow to him, including the fallen angels, who will bow in submission to his authority.
Do they falsify Ezra Chapter 10 also?
“...We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.
Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law...”
I think that is the point they’re trying to make.
