“Kino Jimenez was located in Universal City, Texas,” police said in a statement obtained by Fox News. “Universal City police officers took Mr. Jimenez into custody without incident.”
Jail records Friday morning showed Jimenez was detained on a warrant for theft of person. A jail spokesperson later told Fox News that Jimenez's bond was set at $5,000 and he was booked and released on bond the same day.

You may be right if petty theft is the only charge. Added should be assault with an unknown substance, battery, and, if we’re going to be consistent in enforcing even stupid laws, then his use of the term “nigger” ought to constitute a so-called “hate crime.”
If you do it before or as the assault is in progress, good shooting. After, it looks like retaliation. Timing counts.
Unless you can convince a DA that he was taking off and therefore a fleeing felon, and your concern was that he was about to commit further felonies.
